Fenerbahce and Marseille look to bring in Marcelo after his emotional exit from Real Madrid: Reports

After 15 years at the Santiago Bernabeu, the 34-year-contract old’s has expired, and the Super Lig might be his next destination. Fenerbahce is planning a contract offer for Marcelo, a Brazilian full-back, according to GOAL.
The 34-year-old declared his departure from Real Madrid after the Spanish club’s Champions League final triumph versus Liverpool last month. Several teams are interested in signing the renowned player, but he may finish up in Turkey.

Marcelo to stay in Europe after leaving Real Madrid as a legend
In the next few days, the Istanbul club is set to make an official offer to Marcelo. The Super Lig squad should sign the five-time Champions League winner, according to coach Jorge Jesus. A deal is expected to be reached before the end of the week, according to the player’s reps.
Marcelo is willing to continue his career with the Turkish giants in order to participate in the Champions League next season, but he wants a salary of roughly €6 million (£5 million/$6 million).

Fenerbahce isn’t the only team interested in signing the former Flamengo player, who spent 15 years at Real Madrid winning trophies. Coach Jorge Sampaoli has recommended that Marseille try to sign him, and the club is hoping to do so. There are other clubs in Qatar attempting to persuade Marcelo to go to the Middle East, as well as interest from Brazil, but Marcelo prefers to stay in Europe.
According to ‘Fanatik,’ Marcelo has two possibilities in Europe. The full-back has categorically dismissed the possibility of a transfer to Qatar. And that a club about which he doesn’t say anything would have paid him ten million dollars a year.
Both Olympique Marseille and Fenerbahce would have a spot for the experienced defender in their plans, and both propositions are intriguing. Marcelo, according to the preceding source, would choose the Turkish squad.
