The significant speculation comes around after finalizing the 2030 FIFA World Cup hosting nations. It has been reported that, since 2030 was out of reach for Saudi, they have put in a bid for the 2034 World Cup.

Saudi Arabia’s bid to host the prestigious FIFA event has also been supported by start footballers like Karim Benzema and Jordan Henderson. Even former Liverpool legend and current Al-Ettifaq Club manager, Steven Gerrard posted an image of Prince Mohammed Bin Fahd Stadium with the caption- “Incredible to think that 11-year journey to a home FIFA World Cup might have already started for some of my players. #saudi2034.”
