Manchester United still interested in Joao Felix
Manchester United are reportedly still interested in the signing of Joao Felix in the summer. Felix is currently at Chelsea on loan from Atletico Madrid until the end of the season.
United was beaten to his signature by the Blues in the January transfer window and instead had to opt for loan moves of Wout Weghorst and Marcel Sabitzer. Joao Felix signed a contract extension with Atletico Madrid till 2027. This means United would have to pay a hefty amount to sign him in the summer as the Portuguese’s release clause is currently worth €350 million.
Although Felix had a horrid start to his Chelsea career when he was sent off on debut against Fulham, he has shined for the London-based outfit on a regular basis ever since. In 9 games for the club, the Portuguese star has been a bright spark for the club scoring two goals and adding more flair and skill to Chelsea’s repertoire.
