Real Madrid under the guidance of Carlo Ancelotti won their 20th Copa Del Rey trophy after defeating Osusuna on 7th May 2023. Real Madrid won the trophy after a gap of nine years. They won their last trophy against Barcelona in 2014 and that too with Carlo Ancelotti as the manager.

According to news and various reports, Carlo Ancelotti was on the verge of getting sacked next season. Many reports claimed that Florentino Perez was unhappy with Carlo for many reasons. And decided to sack him at the end of the season.

But after winning Copa Del Rey the whole picture gets changed and the President of the club himself confirms that Ancelotti will continue to guide Real Madrid in the year 2024 also.

After the match when a reporter asked Perez, “Will Carlo Ancelotti leave the club in the next season?”, Florentino Perez replied, “Ancelotti to leave? I don’t even want to hear about it. He has another year on his contract and we are very happy with him.”

This statement by Florentino Perez has made many Real Madrid fans happy and concerned that Carlo will continue to manage Real Madrid next season and will try to win trophies ad titles for the club one more time.

He won the Champions League, La Liga, and FIFA Club World Cup as soon as he was appointed as the new manager. Ancelotti had one of the most successful moments in the year 2021/22. But in the 2022/23 season, Real Madrid is 14 points behind Barcelona and is not in the title race anymore. Ancelotti has also lost many games this season against clubs like Real Sociedad, Girona, Villarreal, Mallorca, etc. And because of this reason, Carlo had a danger of getting sacked in the next season.

But now because he won the Copa Del Rey for Real Madrid after nine years Florentino Perez is quite happy with him and has confirmed that will be the manager in 2024. now it remains to be seen whether Ancelotti remains in the hot seat next season or would he be replaced by someone else
