“It was a mistake”- Banned FIFA President admits awarding Qatar FIFA World Cup rights in 2022

The world is now governed by not governments but perspectives, and social media has constantly grown in terms of giving out a perspective to the people. The head of the governing body such as FIFA, former president Sepp Blatter has finally admitted his responsibility as President that awarding the World Cup to Qatar was a mistake.
The Qatar World Cup 2022 has been surrounded by several controversies including the allowance of hosting the event. The country’s politics and laws defy the motos that are followed by the Footballing world and stand against them, such as same-sex relationships and the treatment of migrant workers.
“The election of Qatar for the World Cup was a mistake, and I assume my responsibility as FIFA President at that time,” said Sepp Blatter the Godfather of football- they say. Many of the officials were penalized and some were even imprisoned for the right cause.
Even steaming platforms like Netflix are releasing documentaries highlighting the bad practices that take place inside the organization that has been hidden from the world and a much saintly image has been portrayed, Qatar bribed its way into the world cup- was one of the most prominent notions running at the time.
The FIFA World cup around corruption and Qatar
The FIFA organization for World football is not as Saint as it looks, there are some dangerous and extremely criminal minds behind it, playing that bigger games. In the last decade or so, the body has been subjected to huge risk, following a 201 million dollar seizing of their forfeited funds.
Many officials were criminally charged and as directed by the United States DOJ (Department of Justice) those were prosecuted in front of the court and were found guilty, and later were imprisoned. The biggest of the names in the business are still out there ruling, but it’s the ‘crashing down’ that has already begun.
