Former Liverpool player and Sky Sports pundit Daniel Sturridge has been charged with a bizarre case. The 34-year-old is now facing a prison sentence for failing to withhold a promise. The player had earlier publicly offered an award. He promised a financial reward to anyone who returned his missing pet dog. The Pomeranian, which went missing back in 2019, has since been found and returned to its owner.

Daniel Sturridge has then failed to keep up his promise of a reward to anyone who returns his dog. The player lost his pet dog from his residence in LA back in 2019. An American rapper, Foster Washington, is credited with finding and returning Sturridge’s pet dog. However, he filed a civil lawsuit when the player failed to uphold his promise of a $30K reward.
