“Doesn’t give a sh*t about football,” Former Real Madrid star explains why Los Blancos must not bring back Jose Mourinho
Jose Mourinho was previously the manager of Real Madrid between 2010 and 2013
Jose Mourinho is rumored to be the new manager at Real Madrid before the start of next season with Carlo Ancelotti reportedly being sacked at the end of the season. However, Antonio Cassano does not believe it to be a good idea.
The former Real Madrid and Italy international stated: “He can return to Real Madrid if Ancelotti does not continue, but if Los Blancos want a coach, they will not call Mourinho for their new project. Mou doesn’t give a sh*t about football. He doesn’t like to work, he doesn’t know how to communicate or speak, let’s not be fooled by his story.”
Cassano further emphasized on his confusion on how Mourinho became so successful: “I don’t know how he achieves those results, because it’s just cinema. He was a great coach, but right now he can train Real Madrid, as he can also train San Martines.”
Jose Mourinho is widely regarded as one of the greatest managers of all time. Currently, at AS Roma, the Portuguese has coached and won trophies at top clubs such as Porto, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Inter Milan and Manchester United.

Former Barcelona player issues warning to Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti
Carlo Ancelotti is rumored to be sacked at the end of the season as the head coach of Real Madrid as the management is extremely unhappy with him. Ancelotti has been extremely successful in winning cup competitions, however, his record in domestic leagues has been poor. Real Madrid are currently second in La Liga with league leaders Barcelona slipping out of their grasp with each passing moment. They were also drawn on the tougher side in the Champions League quarterfinal draw. Currently, Ancelotti is being linked with a move to English giants Chelsea.
Speaking about Real Madrid’s style of play, former Barcelona player Jofre Mateu stated: “The problem is that with Real Madrid you always have the feeling that you have chances. Because they play reactively. They even give you the ball, they look like they have no chances and they are just defending and in 10 minutes they score 3 goals.”
As for Ancelotti’s future at the club, he stated: “If Real Madrid doesn’t win the Champions League – I’m not imagining Ancelotti being here for the next season. They are planning for the future – there are some names here appearing like Mauricio Pochettino. Probably Antonio Conte, who is not managing or Julian Nagelsmann. If they win the Champions League, probably he is gonna be here. So I think it all depends on Madrid’s Champions League success.”
