According to reports from the club’s official sources, AS Roma management will give away free tickets to all the supporters who saw a humiliating defeat by the Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt in the group stage match of the UEFA Conference League 2021-22.
Jose Mourinho’s side, AS Roma, advanced to the UEFA Conference League final after they defeated Leicester City in a 2-1 aggregate victory to reach the final of the Conference League.
The group stage match against Bodo/Glimt saw the Seria A side getting humiliated and there were 166 traveling fans to witness the defeat last October in the group stage game. They will now reward those 166 supporters in a nice gesture by taking them to the final match against Feyenoord in Tirana to repay the faith of the supporters.
With his win over Leicester City, Jose Mourinho became the first coach ever to reach the final of the Europa League, Champions League, and now the UEFA Conference League and will play Feyenoord in the UECL final on May 25 in Tirana.
“The club decided to thank the 166 season ticket holders present at the 21 October match in the guest sector of the Aspmyra Stadion in Bodo by granting them – free of charge – a ticket to the final,” AS Roma said in a statement.

AS Roma vs Leicester City- As it happened in the UEFA Conference League semifinal
AS Roma advanced into the UEFA Conference League 2021-22 final by beating Leicester City 1-0 in the second leg and 2-1 on aggregate to reach the inaugural final.
Tammy Abraham’s first-half header in the 11th minute helped Mourinho’s side to reach the final as he burst into tears at the end of the game. They will play Feyenoord on May 25 in Tirana, Albania to win the inaugural UECL glory and will automatically qualify for the 2022/23 Europa League group stage.
AS Roma is currently at the fifth spot in the Seria A league table behind Juventus who are ten points clear at the fourth place. With three games in hand, Mourinho’s side will look to win every game to secure the fifth spot but that won’t help the side in reaching the champions league next season.
