Many famous athletes have had food items or restaurants named after them. While many NFL stars especially have that unique distinction, football legends Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Andreas Pirlo have sandwiches named after them. When a fan tried naming a kebab after a certain French superstar, he got sued instead.

Mohamed Henni, an influencer based in Marseille, owns a kebab restaurant. He decided to name one of his dishes after the Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe, whose team is also the biggest rival of Marseille. In the advertisements, he called the kebab head “as round as Mbappe’s head.”

Seeing the dish, Mbappe and his legal team were not impressed. They sent a letter to Henni, asking him to rename the kebab or face legal action, he shared the letter with many French media outlets. It read out that they were not happy with the influencer using his name for promotional and commercial means without any prior consent.

Henni lashed out at Mbappe, asking if he had any humor. He further asked if the PSG star was embarrassed by his actions.

I’m stunned a player of this level has the time to think about me. He is using his time and money to attack me. I am not hurting anyone. I am a humorist. Are you not embarrassed? Launching a legal complaint for absolutely nothing?
Mohamed Henni said on his Instagram

Henni further took the example of Dimitri Payet, who also had a kebab named after him. He called Payet a man with morals, while Mbappe had “lost it”.

PSG eye Liverpool €145 million winger as Kylian Mbappe

With Kylian Mbappe most likely leaving Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season for Real Madrid, the club has begun their search for his replacement. Many thought Manchester United star, Marcus Rashford, could fit the bill, but now they have found a replacement from his rivals.

The club have identified Colombian winger, Luis Diaz, as a perfect successor. With Jurgen Klopp leaving at the end of the season, Diaz’s future at the club isn’t certain. They will need to fight with FC Barcelona to get his services, with Liverpool valuing the winger at €145 million.

So far this season, Diaz has been enjoying his time. He has scored 11 times so far and assisted four times. He has already won a trophy, being a part of the Carabao Cup winning squad.
