French President Immanuel Macron promises ‘to push’ Kylian Mbappe to stay at PSG’ amidst Real Madrid transfer saga

France President Emmanuel Macron talked about the current situation between Kylian Mbappe and Paris Saint Germain. Mbappe reportedly made it clear that he won’t be extending his stay further after 2024.
President Marcon recently was asked about Mbappe’s situation with the Ligue 1. To this question, he replied, “I don’t know what’s happening with Kylian, but I will push for him to stay”.
The French president was reportedly a key figure in convincing Mbappe to stay at PSG last year after he was offered a contract by Real Madrid. After Madrid failed to sign the World Cup winner, their president Florentino Perez reportedly slammed PSG’s tactics that they used to keep the striker. He said, “Macron called Mbappé, it makes no sense. PSG offered him to be the leader of the project, it changed everything. It was not easy for Mbappé to receive calls from the president of France … to tell you not to leave the club”.
PSG have made their stance pretty clear to the player. They have no intention to let Mbappe leave next season for free. So, either the French goal machine has to agree to a new contract. Or the club would start looking for possible suitors for the player and let him leave this summer for a price they seem fit.

Mbappe slams fans for their treatment towards Lionel Messi
Kylian Mbappe has slammed the fans for their treatment of Lionel Messi. He reportedly said that Messi didn’t get the respect in the league that he deserved.
In a recent interview, Mbappe opened up about his thoughts over the treatment that Messi received during his two-season stint at the club. He said, “We’re talking about potentially the best player in the history of football. It’s never good news when someone like Messi leaves”.
Mbappe then continued, he said, “Personally I haven’t really understood why so many people were relieved that he was leaving. We’re talking about Messi, he should be respected. But instead, he didn’t get the respect he deserved in France. It’s a shame, but that’s how it went. He’ll have to be replaced as best as possible“.
