Former Tottenham Hotspur and Real Madrid player Gareth Bale recently made an appearance on the show ‘A League of Their Own’. On the show, Arsenal fan and host asked some interesting questions to the ex-footballer who gave controversial yet expected answers.
The Gunners fan addressed some old rumors where Mikel Arteta probably wanted Bale to return and play for Arsenal. He joked about Arteta personally calling Bale and asking him to play for his former London rivals. To this, Bale had a hilarious yet articulate response.
He clearly said:
No. Never. Impossible.
He quickly dismisses any chances of Arsenal fans imagining him in white and red. The Welsh player who also captained them played for Spurs from 2007 and 2013. He made 236 appearances scoring 71 times and assisting 58 times.
After captaining his country to the 2022 World Cup, The legendary winger announced his retirement from the sport. He has since been on his way to becoming a pro golfer and was also recently seen playing tennis with good technique.
