Gary Linekar trolls Manchester United on Twitter as Mickey Mouse becomes a ‘free agent’
Manchester United
Manchester United have been the slowest of all Big 6 Premier League clubs this season when it came to transfer activity. The club let go of as many as 6 stars for free at the beginning of June but didn’t bring any new faces to Old Trafford.
However, the lack of transfer activity has left many fans thinking of the club is really ambitious to get back on the top. Even Cristiano Ronaldo issued a statement that he didn’t see any ambition in the club and wanted to leave. Prompting Gary Lineker to take a cheeky dig at the club.
Clubs like Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester City on the other hand have spent over £80 million each as they strengthen their squads for the upcoming seasons. Manchester United finally announced their first signing of the season 2 days back as they confirmed Tyrel Malacia from Feyenoord.

Gary Linked trolls Manchester United saying Mickey Mouse could be their new signing
With news coming out of Hollywood that Mickey Mouse would be leaving Disney this year after 100 years as the face of the studio, Gary Linker was quick to link the cartoon character with Manchester United.
The club has been negotiating since the start of the transfer window for Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong. While they have achieved a verbal agreement to sign Christian Eriksen on a free transfer, paperwork is yet to be signed.
Up next for Manchester United is to sign Ajax duo Antony and Lisandro Martinez as they continue working on a deal with Barcelona for Frenkie de Jong. The club will also have to work hard on keeping their star player, Cristiano Ronaldo at Old Trafford this summer after the Portuguese admitted to wanting a move away.
