The photo is from 17th April 2010.  On this day Manchester United face Manchester City in a derby match. Where the Red Devils fought to be in the title race and the Blue fought to qualify for the Champions League.

Before this match both the teams faced each other three times and the result of all the previous matches were just on par. But the match conducted on this day was a do-a-die match for both teams. The match was pretty dull until the midfielder of Man Utd Paul Scholes scored a header goal in the extra time and lead the Red Devils to victory.

And after the whistle was blown in the happiness of the victory the captain of Man Utd Gray Neville kissed Paul Scholes on the lips, which gave the fans for the future an iconic photo of the two key players of the club.
