“Barcelona doesn’t care,” Gavi downplays Jude Bellingham’s €103 million move to Real Madrid

FC Barcelona midfield sensation Pablo Gavi has talked about Jude Bellingham joining the Spanish giants Real Madrid. Real Madrid have signed the talented English midfielder for a whopping €103 million.
In the latest interview, Gavi said that he is not phased by Real Madrid signing the world-class star. He said, “Barca is not at its best economic moment right now, but many very strong youngsters have come out of the academy and we have a great team. Real Madrid can sign whoever they want, I absolutely don’t care. We have our own (players) and we will always go to death.”
Apart from Bellingham, Real Madrid brought back attacking midfielder Brahim Diaz from AC Milan. The club also brought back the talented left-back Fran Garcia from Rayo Vallocano. Real Madrid are ready to start their season with a revamped squad as they seek European Glory.
Gavi has been one of the most influential figures in the Barca midfield this season. His partnership with Pedri has solved the financial woes of the club.

Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has reportedly made demands before the player signs for the club. Gundogan has been a long-time target for the club as coach Xavi Hernandez seems to feel the German international would be a perfect replacement. Gundogan’s agent has reportedly asked Barcelona’s hierarchy to guarantee that they would be able to register the player before they move forward. The midfielder and his agent want to assure that everything happens without any problems. In case things turn positive, Gundogan would join the club on a free transfer.
Barcelona is also thought to be interested in signing Fulham’s Joao Paulinha as they seem like a very promising prospect for their midfield. Xavi is keeping his eyes open as he knows the club’s financial situation well and would look to get good players at a much lesser cost.
