Cristiano Ronaldo currently plays in Saudi Arabia for Al Nassr. Signing for them in January 2023, Ronaldo has become one of the biggest players in the league. He currently lives in the city of Riyadh with his family. 

Thanks to the international break, Cristiano Ronaldo and his family decided to take a short vacation. The family has gone to the St. Regis Red Sea Resort, located in the Ummahat Island in Saudi Arabia.

Ronaldo and his partner, Gerogina Rodriguez, uploaded pictures of them at the resort with their kids. Rodriguez posted nine photos of their vacation on Instagram. The first was of the entire family, while the 2nd was of the couple and their 2nd son Mateo. She then uploaded a photo of the Portuguese star and his four youngest children walking on the beach.

It was followed with many photos of their kids, Rodriguez and Ronaldo enjoying their time in the spa and a photo of her and their youngest daughter, Bella. Meanwhile the Portuguese star uploaded a reel of him and his children walking on the beach and a photo of him, Rodriguez and his family.

Why was Cristiano Ronaldo dropped from the Portuguese national team?

Portugal will be playing two friendlies against Sweden and Slovenia on 22nd and 27th March. It is the last few matches they will play before the 2024 Euros. With many expecting the tournament to be Cristiano Ronaldo’s last tournament, fans were sure he would be picked for the friendlies. Unfortunately, he was dropped from the squad for the Sweden friendly.

According to ESPN, the forward was dropped to rest, while he vacations with his family in Saudi Arabia. The 39-year-old had recently played the entire 90-minutes against Al-Ahli, where he scored a penalty to win 1-0. 

Ronaldo will return to the squad for the friendly with Slovenia, which will be played in Ljubljana, Slovenia. He is expected to be an integral part for the Portuguese national team for the 2024 Euros. 

Ronaldo recently featured in Al Nassr’s 1-0 win over Al Ahli. Before that, they faced Al Ain in the AFC Champions League, but a costly miss led to them getting knocked out. Al Nassr’s next fixture is on 30th March, where they face Al Tai at home. They see a very congested 10 days, as they play four matches in the span of 10 days. This includes the Saudi Super Cup semi-finals with Al Hilal.
