During the celebration of the recent King’s League season, an event co-founded by Gerard Pique and Twitch streamer Ibai Llanos, an unfortunate incident occurred when Pique lost his temper at a nightclub. The event was intended to mark the end of the tournament, which featured various streamers and ex-players like Sergio Aguero and Iker Casillas. However, tensions rose as some fans of Pique’s former partner, the renowned singer Shakira, began heckling him.
As the recent King’s League season came to an end, the participants celebrated at a Barcelona nightclub where Gerard Pique was spotted by the owner, who called him up on stage. Obliging the request, Pique took the microphone, but before he could speak, the crowd started chanting Shakira’s name, a person he date for 11 years.
In 2011, Shakira and Gerard Pique officially began their relationship, and over the years, they welcomed two children, Milan and Sasha. However, in 2022, they made the difficult decision to announce their split. Following the separation, Shakira relocated to Miami with their children, while Gerard Pique confirmed his new relationship with his girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti.
As the heckling with Shakira’s name persisted and the frustration mounted, Gerard Pique finally reached a breaking point. He vented his exasperation, exclaiming, “And what happens? What happens? I don’t care, I am a world champion, and you are nobody. You are puppets.” The constant trolling and negative reception had taken its toll, and after months of enduring the taunts, he couldn’t contain his emotions any longer.

The power couple quickly became the most talked-about celebrity duo in Spain. They had two children, Milan and Sasha.
However, they announced their split in 2022. The singer alleged that she had caught Pique cheating on her with his new girlfriend Clara Chia Marti. She moved to Miami with the children while the former FC Barcelona defender made it official with Clara Chia.
