Gerard Pique’s ex-partner Shakira rumored to be dating Argentinian music star

Shakira is rumored to be dating an Argentine music producer after her split with Gerard Pique well over a year ago.

Gerard Pique and Shakira, one of the most iconic couples in the world, announced their decision to split well over a year ago. The Colombian singer and songwriter enjoyed over a decade together, and are parents to two children – Milan and Sasha. However, Gerard Pique went public with Clara Chia Marti, his new partner, back in January 2023. Even though Shakira has been relatively silent in terms of relationships, rumors of potential live interest have surfaced – with fingers pointing to a certain Rafael Arcaute.

With just days to go till the end of 2023, Shakira is as reported by MARCA ‘very interested’ in this new love interest. The person in question, Rafael Arcaute is a 44-year-old Argentinian music producer, who has a whopping 18 Latin Grammys under his belt. As reported in the Telecinco program Socialite, Arcaute was already interested in Shakira while she was with Pique. However, he refrained from making any moves respecting her existing relationship at the time.

Ceriani reports that the two have been going out to dinner, and meeting regularly and that Shakira is willing to take a step forward with the Argentine.

Gerard Pique set to venture into MMA after successful King’s League project

Gerard Pique announced his retirement from football back in November of 2022. However, the World Cup and Champions League winner wasted no time in shifting his attention to business projects elsewhere. His initial and most successful venture, the King’s League featured 7-a-side teams with new and interesting rules. It was reported that the final four games of the tournament generated over $3 million in revenue.

Now, it is understood that Pique has shifted his attention to MMA. Unlike the USA, Spain does not boast a sophisticated and well-known MMA tournament. The former FC Barcelona defender has partnered up with Spanish MMA professional Ilia Topuria. As per Topuria, the two have been planning to launch an MMA promoter in Spain for months. He also added that they will bring in fighters with a lot of potential.

Pique has a big liking towards MMA. It's the first time I met him and we spoke about a lot of things. I think he'll also be there for my fight against Volkanovski.

The duo sparked conversation on social media when they were spotted landing in the USA together. He also said that the venture is under wraps at the moment and is expected to kick off by the end of next year. As for the King’s League, following a successful first season, the league is now set to venture into other regions/countries.
