Gerard Pique’s ex recently spoke about Pique and Shakira for the first time since the star couple’s break up. Pique and Shakira broke up in June 2022 with allegations of Pique’s affair surfacing.
Nuria Tomas, a Spanish actress, dated Pique from 2009 to 2011. The former couple split after Pique dumped the actress to start dating Shakira. However, Tomas has happily moved on since as she is currently in a relationship with August Puig Bosch who she also has two children with.
Speaking about Pique and Shakira’s break up, Tomas stated: “I don’t want to pronounce myself. I don’t know, I don’t think so because I haven’t started to investigate. They have their history. I wish him and everyone the best. I have never spoken about him and I will not now.” Although, the businesswoman did not miss her opportunity to take a dig at Pique while also seemingly standing in solidarity with Shakira stating: “When there are feelings involved, each one takes it in their own way. I’m nobody to give an opinion, I don’t dare, I don’t know Shakira. I haven’t had the opportunity to ask her. I can’t tell you anything but women have to help each other and be one.”
Gerard Pique and Shakira broke up in June 2022 when the former FC Barcelona man was caught having an affair with his current girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti. The now former couple has two children together. Since the break up, Shakira has released three songs dissing Pique which have topped global charts.

Shakira and Bizarrap break four Guinness World Records with track dissing Gerard Pique
Pop star Shakira and Argentinian DJ and music producer Bizarrap have broken four Guinness world records with their latest track “Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53”. The song throws shade at Shakira’s ex Gerard Pique.
It is currently the most viewed Latin track on YouTube. Apart from this, it became the most streamed Latin song in 24 hours as it garnered over 63 million streams. It won the record for the fastest Latin track to garner 100 million views on YouTube, and also the Latin song with the highest number of streams in the first week.
The song throws shade at Gerard Pique as some of the lyrics read: “So much talk of being a champion, and when I needed you, you gave me the worst version of you.” This was the third song Shakira released dissing Pique as she previously released Te Felecito and Monotonia which also accumulated hundred’s of millions of views on YouTube.
