Gerard Pique’s ex-partner and Colombian singer, Shakira, grabbed attention by holding a Barcelona jersey as she was posing with the club staff. This picture comes just a year after the couple’s public split. It was during the launch of her educational center in Barranquilla, Colombia, known as Fundación Pies Descalzos.

The foundation was established by partnering with Fundació FC Barcelona and the La Caixa Foundation. It aims to benefit over 1,000 students yearly through primary and secondary education and neighborhood community service. Shakira expressed her gratitude to everyone who was present during the opening ceremony.

While Gerard Pique and Shakira parted ways in 2022 due to Pique’s alleged love affair with another woman- Clara Chia Marti, the Colombian has maintained relations with his ex-employers for the benefit of the foundation. Recently, she announced a $16 million partnership with Barefoot Foundation and FC Barcelona to establish a new school in her hometown of Barranquilla.

The initiative reflects her commitment to giving back to her community and supporting the education of Colombian children. Despite her personal challenges, Shakira has remained dedicated to other philanthropic interests.

Meanwhile, She has also released new songs while Pique has been promoting Kings League on the global stage. All of it showcases how they have moved on in their lives.

Barcelona’s heart of midfield, Gavi continues to develop

Barcelona’s young midfielder, Gavi, continues to shine as the team’s rising star under coach Xavi. The ex-Barca midfielder underscored the youngster’s significance to the squad in a recent match against Real Betis, praising his contributions and highlighting his versatility and character.
