Gregg Berhalter is set to return as United States Men’s National Team coach for a second stint after his contract expired six months ago. Berhalter took the USMNT to the Qatar World Cup 2022, which was his last tournament with the team before his contract ended. He was also wrapped up in a scandal regarding Borussia Dortmund youngster Gio Reyna almost at the same time he stepped down from the hot seat.
According to reports, US soccer still hasn’t found a perfect candidate to replace Berhalter. And it seems more and more likely that the former USMNT coach would be filling up the vacant spot again.
The reports also suggested that Berhalter might already talk to go back and take up the position once again. Berhalter was the key figure behind the recent rise of association football in the United States.
Although there have been no reports suggesting that the two parties have reached an agreement. But they are set to get to the final stages soon. Berhalter was all over the news after details of his private life with his wife Rosalind was made public by USMNT player Gio Reyna‘s parents Claudio and Danielle Reyna.

USMNT’s Pulisic keen on a move to AC Milan for more game time
USMNT winger Cristian Pulisic is reportedly interested in a move to AC Milan, according to reports. The Italian Giants are interested to sign the winger from Chelsea. However, the financials regarding the deal are yet to be confirmed.
Pulisic arrived at Stamford Bridge for a fee worth £58 million from Borussia Dortmund in 2019. He has had quite some outstanding performances over the years for the Blues but, his injury record along with his inconsistencies have kept him out of first-team action for the past eighteen months.
Although the last season wasn’t great for the player. He only scored one goal in all the 24 matches that he appeared in Premier League for Chelsea. As he nears the end of his contract the club would reportedly want to cash in on the player as soon as possible. Or he might leave the club next season on a free transfer.
Chealse is reportedly interested to hear out offers for the winger. Sources believe that the club would part ways with the player for £20 million. Elite clubs like Juventus and AC Milan are all interested to sign the player. Other clubs like Manchester United, Newcastle United, Napoli, and Galatasaray are also thought to be some of the other parties in the race for Pulisic.
AC Milan sees Pulisic bolster their attacking line this season as they would look to challenge for the Scudetto this season. The club thinks Pulisic would perfectly pair with Rafael Leao who plays on the opposite flank. Leao has also extended his stay at the Italian club and has also taken up the mantle as AC Milan’s new No. 10.
