Manchester City star Erling Haaland made quite a few heads turn, as he made a sly joke about who he thought would be victorious in the KSI vs. Tommy Fury fight scheduled to happen in October. Famous YouTube personality KSI (JJ) and Tommy Fury (Professional boxer), are set to face off on October 14 at the AO Arena in Manchester. The clash will be part of Misfits X DAZN: The Prime Card, a boxing event.
The clash between KSI and Fury is the headline event in the tournament. The clash has managed to muster monumental popularity over the internet, with Netizens buzzing in anticipation. KSI and Logan Paul have partnered up to create PRIME, a range of sports drinks and mixers, and will be the title sponsor of the event. Following its release, PRIME has then partnered up with Arsenal, UFC and even Barcelona. Manchester City are the latest addition to their list of partnerships.
Man City star Erling Haaland has also partnered with the brand and has become the first football to endorse PRIME. The partnership was announced through Instagram. Haaland, while appearing in IMPAULSIVE, Logan Paul’s ‘comedy’ podcast, was jokingly asked by Logan who he thought would win between KSI and Fury. He asked Haaland to ask as if KSI weren’t there in the room. Haaland humorously answered, “The other guy“. Haaland also clarified that he was not well versed in boxing and that he only watched very little boxing and MMA events sporadically. Even though Haaland made the response comically, Netizens have made a meal out of the incident while others claim that Haaland made a mistake partnering with PRIME; the brand has been heavily criticised by many for being ‘unhealthy’ and not an actual ‘sports drink’ like they claim it to be.
Haaland recently won PFA Player of the Year for his record breaking performances in the 2022/23 debut season. He has 3 goals from 3 games this season, as many expect the Norwegian to retain his Golden Boot as Man City prepare to defend their title once again.
Erling Haaland to Real Madrid? Kylian Mbappe saga takes a new twist

Reports suggest that Los Blancos President Florentino Perez has identified Erling Haaland as the Mbappe alternative if the Frenchman ends up signing a contract extension at the end of this season. After missing out on Kylian for a second consecutive season, and rumours that Mbappe is ready to sign an extension at the end of the 23/24 season, Real Madrid are set to invest the Mbappe money in two major signings.
One of the big-name signings is Erling Haaland, who can be bought by activating his €200m release clause. The second signing would be Alphonso Davies, who is valued at €70m.
The understanding is that Real Madrid will no longer go for Mbappe if the player chooses to extend with PSG, which is more likely at the moment. Mbappe has been “reinstated” into the first team after “constructive” developments with the player. Mbappe sat out the preseason tour as well as the Ligue 1 opener in early August.
