According to reports, Hakim Ziyech’s transfer to Saudi Arabia has fallen through. The Chelsea player was close to completing an £8 million transfer to Al-Nassr, the team of Cristiano Ronaldo. The player and the club were unable to reach an agreement on a deal.
According to Gulf sources, the 30-year-old and a three-year contract’s final parameters could not be agreed upon due to a failed medical. According to the article, it is unknown if Al-Nassr will participate in the deal again. A knee issue was discovered after Ziyech failed a medical exam. Ziyech is now available for purchase at Stamford Bridge after losing favor.
Ziyech is anticipated to leave the Blues this window. This is given because Todd Boehly and Mauricio Pochettino are orchestrating a clearout at Chelsea to revamp the lineup. The Moroccan has had trouble adjusting to the Premiership ever since his £33m move from Ajax in 2020.
Ziyech has failed a move twice in the last six months, the most recent being this one. In January, he was waiting to move on loan to PSG. Seko Fofana has reached a personal agreement with Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia. The midfielder and Cristiano Ronaldo are going to be playing together. His current team, RC Lens, is currently in disbelief as they prepare for the possibility of losing their captain.
The destination comes as a surprise to football fans, even though Fofana has been repeatedly connected with a move away from RC Lens. The Al-Nassr club has reportedly made the Ivorian international a full agreement after making him an offer.
A deal between the Ligue 1 team and the Saudi Pro League club must be reached before his transfer can take place. For their best midfielder, the French team wants to be paid at least 40 million euros. Until 2027, Fofana is under contract with the French team.
