Former Tottenham Hotspur Captain and England skipper Harry Kane was the center of attention after the Bayern Munich man scored his 300th Club Career Goal in Spectacular fashion. The Bayern number 9 has had a brilliant start to life in Germany, after finding the net in all of his first 3 games for the Bavarians. Kane netted in his fourth game as well, after expertly positioning himself at the far post to head home a deflected corner kick. After giving the home side the lead in just over 7 minutes, Harry Kane reached the tally of 300 Club Goals in his illustrious goalscoring career.
The goal meant that Kane now has 4 goals in his first four games for the club, equalling a record held only by Miroslav Klose back in the year 2007. A breakdown of his 300 goals will allow the majority of his goals to his former club Tottenham with 280, nine goals for Millwall, two for Leicester, 5 goals for Leyton Orient and four goals for the defending Bundesliga Champions.
Harry Kane’s early goal means that his four-goal tally places him second on the list of the league’s top scorers, just one goal behind Serhou Guirassy of Stuttgart. However, Kane’s side fell to a late equalizer from Stuttgart after VAR penalized Alphonso Davies for what seemed like a soft foul. After netting early in the game after being unmarked by Granit Xhaka, Kane was ultimately subbed off in the 85th minute. His early goal was canceled out when Álex Grimaldo hit the top corner from a spectacular free-kick.

Bayern Munich share the spoils vs. Leverkusen
Defending Champions Bayern Munich were held to a 2-2 draw in a thrilling clash against Leverkusen at the Allianz Arena. Prior to the clash, either side were boasting an excellent record, having won 3 games in 3, and sharing first and second position. Xabi Alonso’s side were on the back of a thumping 5-1 will against Darmstadt and the International break did not hamper their momentum. As was the case for Thomas Tuchel’s side, with their new marksman scoring on all cylinders after moving from Tottenham over the summer.
Harry Kane netted early in the first half from a corner. After being unmarked at the far post for a corner, Kane gave his side the lead within 7 minutes. However, Bayern saw their lead evaporate as Álex Grimaldo hit a thunderbolt of a free-kick up over the wall and past Sven Ulreich to make it 1-1. Either side had chances to go ahead in the first half, with Victor Boniface and Leroy Sané‘s shots flashing just wide of the post. Serge Gnabry did no good to his poor run of form after he missed a sitter from point black from a deflected shot.

Harry Kane came close to making it 301 Club goals before Leon Goretzka scored in the 85th minute to make it 2-1 to the hosts. Tuchel’s side thought they had won it with just 5 minutes to go when VAR penalized Alphonso Davies for a soft challenge inside the box. World Cup winner Ezequiel Palacios found the net from 12 yards to restore parity at the 90-minute mark. Dayot Upamecano’s 90+8th minute strike was labeled offside by the line referee, ending the game at 2-2.
