Bayern Munich striker, Harry Kane continues to make headlines as he becomes the highest-scoring English footballer in a single Bundesliga season. Last night, Kane scored the only goal in Bayern’s 1-0 win over Koln in a Bundesliga match.
Since signing for the Bavarians from Tottenham, for $100 million, the English captain has been in unstoppable form. Yesterday’s goal, courtesy of a first-half strike, took Bayern to the top of the Bundesliga table, overtaking rivals rivals Bayer Leverkusen. Subsequently, Harry Kane also added to his goal tally. Now, he has 18 goals from just 12 matches along with the 5 assists. He remains at the top of the Bundesliga goalscorer’s list this season while shattering multiple records en route.
Furthermore, the goal against Koln made Kane the top-scoring English player in the German League, surpassing Kevin Keegan. Following the game, during the post-match interview he shared with Sky Sports that he feels at home playing for the German team, receiving a warm welcome from teammates, coaches, and fans since moving from Tottenham.
