Former England and Tottenham Hotspur player David Bentley believes Dele Alli should return to the Premier League. When he transferred from MK Dons to Spurs, he was considered the next great thing, but he eventually moved to Everton owing to a drop in performance.

“I’ve got a slight connection with Dele as he was with my agency. He left, and I think his brother took over the day-to-day runnings, and maybe his personal life hasn’t been managed correctly – but it’s such a shame as he’s such a talent. But I think he had a good game the other day for Besiktas – I think he scored and put in a man-of-the-match performance. Still, for a talented player and his age, it’s a shame not working out for him,” Former England and Spurs David Bentley stated while chatting to Bitcoin casino. “If someone can get him right again, he’d be a great asset to any PL club,” he added.

Dele Ali had a bright future when he was playing for Tottenham, but his form slipped once Mauricio Pochettino left. Jose Mourinho told Dele Alli, “Time flies. And one day, you’ll regret it; I think if you don’t achieve what you can achieve. I don’t expect you to be the man of the match every game or to score in every game. I just want to tell you that you will regret it. You should demand more of yourself, not me; demand more of you, not me.”

After a poor season at Besiktas, Dele Alli’s manager stated, “I don’t think he deserves to play right now.” Dele Ali was also named the PFA Young Player of the Year twice. He had a bright future as a Tottenham player, but injuries and repeated management changes derailed his career.

Dele Alli had the world at his feet playing for MK Dons and later Tottenham Hotspur. He was regarded as the next big thing after excelling under Mauricio Pochettino. He recorded 10 goals and 15 assists, which is impressive for a 19-year-old.

In his second season, he was outstanding for the Spurs, scoring 22 goals and providing 13 assists across all competitions. He was selected to England’s World Cup squad in 2018 and was a key team member. Dele also scored a critical goal for England in the World Cup quarterfinals against Sweden and led Tottenham at 21. However, he had a hamstring injury at the start of 2019. Pochettino was sacked at this time, and his career went downhill since Pochettino was the major reason he did so well due to his team system.

Then Jose Mourinho arrived and told Dele ‘he was too lazy in training”. Everything fell apart from there, and he was sent to Everton. Everton loaned him to Besiktas, but he failed to live up to expectations. He is only 26 years old, and he has the potential to relaunch his career and rediscover his form.
