Harry Kane may buy his last year at Spurs out of pocket to complete his move to Bayern Munich. According to Sky Sports, there is a difference of around £20m from Tottenham’s asking price to what Bayern Munich’s bid for Harry Kane is. Saying that the Germans are falling ‘significantly short’ of the valuation. It is understood that both clubs decided on a potential transfer of the English Captain when a meeting was postponed from Friday to Monday.
Further, it is understood that Kane might be open to a move to the German club. The Bundesliga champions have offered around €80m for his services which the Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy rejected. Having set their star’s valuation at £100m, the English club is not ready to settle for anything less.
Kane scored 30 goals in the Premier League last season. So it was natural for the biggest clubs in the world to reignite their interest in him. Albeit Spurs only managed to finish eighth in the League despite Kane’s effort. This could be another driving factor in his decision to leave the London club.
Conclusively, under new manager Ange Postecolgou, Tottenham will look to improve their performances next season. Whether with Kane or without him in the squad. The Australian has already found his new signings, as James Maddison, Manor Solomon, and Guglielmo Vicario have already started training with the club to prepare for the coming season.

Harry Kane has cemented his name in the record books, moving closer to breaking Premier League scoring records. He has developed into more than just a number nine and has proved his versatility with a number of new managers the club has seen over the years.
“He is the team’s leading goalscorer, of the country and probably will break Alan Shearer’s record for most goals in the Premier League as well. So it is down to him to know what is important for him. And for his legacy with Spurs, which is unbelievable now. As for personal records, it is important also to win something before he is finished playing football,” Berbatov said, talking about him to the PA News Agency.
Kane must consider whether to pursue one of the most coveted records or move to a club with a prodigy of winning trophies. Running into the last year of his contract and already linked with Munich, fans and experts will be keeping a keen eye on his career decisions from hereon in.
