The president of Paris Saint Germain, Nasser Al-Khelaifi has played a pivotal role in Sheikh Jassim’s bid to buy Manchester United. And according to the latest reports the owners of the Red Devils have approached the PSG president for his help.

The Qatari banker is going toe-to-toe with the owner of INEOS Sir Jim Ratcliffe to become the new owner of Manchester United since the Glazers announced their decision to sell the club back in January.

However, as per reports, Sheikh Jassim’s team approached Nasser Al-Khelaifi for advice on Manchester United’s valuation after the current owners wanted around six billion euros to seal the deal. And earlier this week the Qatari banker offered his fifth and final bid to buy the club.

But now as per reports Nasser Al-Khelaifi has teamed up with Glazers and the Raine Group. As per recent reports, the current owners of the Red Devils approached the president of PSG to convince Sheikh Jassim to increase his bid which will help the Glazers to sell the club at approximately around their projected valuation.

Sheik Jassim’s fifth bid is around five billion euros. And this bid is to take control of the entire club with no shareholders or investors. The Qatari banker has been firm on his decision to buy the whole club from the start of the bidding process.

Where his rival Sir Jim Ratcliffe has offered a slightly higher bid but with the proposal to leave some or all the Glazers siblings as minority shareholders the owner of INEOS does not want to buy the whole club. But wants majority shares which will make him the ultimate decision-making authority.

For now, nothing has been confirmed that whether Sheik Jassim would increase his bid after the talks with Nasser Al-Khelaifi. Or whether the Glazers would sell the club to the Qatari banker or Jim Ratcliffe. But as per reports the decision regarding the club would be taken soon by the current owners.

As per reports Manchester United is speculating to make a blockbuster signing of Neymar Jr in this summer transfer window. The club is constantly in talks with Paris Saint Germain regarding the transfer of the Brazilian.

Red Devils are also looking forward to selling eight players from the main squad this summer including the captain Harry Maguire and striker Anthony Martial. If this happens it would reduce the wage bill of the club to a great extent and the signing of Neymar would become easier. North London club Chelsea is also in the race for signing the Brazilian.

For now, nothing is confirmed yet but if Sheikh Jassim becomes the new owner of the club, then the fans could see Neymar Jr playing in the red shirt the next season. However, as per reports, the Glazer would soon take the decision regarding the new owner of the club.
