Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag reportedly punished players by making them listen to euphoric Liverpool dressing room celebrations post the clash between the Premier League giants. Liverpool ran riot at Anfield on Sunday as they humiliated Manchester United by beating them 7-0 with Gakpo, Nunez, Salah and Firmino all on the scoresheet.

Erik Ten Hag had previously punished his players by making them run 14 kms following the 4-0 defeat to Brentford early in the season as the bees had ran 14 kms more compared to all United players. Apart from making them listen to the ecstatic celebrations as a reality check, he also appointed sports psychologist Rainier Koers to help them deal with the humiliation and threatened to make them train with the under-21’s if Sunday’s performance was ever repeated.
