Former Brazil international and ex-Porto star Givanildo Vieira de Sousa, better known as ‘Hulk‘ has revealed delightful news. The footballer has announced on social media that he and his ex-wife’s niece are expecting a baby. The formidable footballer split up with his ex-wife Iran Souza after a 12-year-relationship back in 2019. His current wife, Camila Angelo, is the niece of his ex-wife Iran Souza.

Hulk currently piles his trade at Atletico Mineiro in the Brasileiro Série A. The 37-year-old played for Porto, Zenit Saint Petersburg and Shanghai SIPG. After a prolonged exclusion from the Brazilian National team, Hulk was recalled for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers in 2021. News of his second child has come as a pleasant surprise for football fans around the globe.

The player took to Instagram recently, to post about the ‘good’ news for his family.

He lined out concerns of a ‘leak’ and said that he even kept the news from his children. 

I told them only when I came to pick them up for the holidays.

While Hulk and Camila share a child, he has three children with his ex-wife Iran Souza.

Brazilian star Hulk is well-known for his formidable physique and blistering strikes. However, in recent years, the footballer has also been turning heads about his life and history with his ex-wife. The current Atletico Mineiro forward married his ex-wife Iran Souza while the player was making a living in Japan. Even though their marriage lasted 12 years and had 3 children along the way, a visit from Souza’s niece Camila Angelo ‘complicated’ things.

Camila posted pictures with the couple, under the caption ‘Family is the foundation of everything’. However, six months after her first arrival in Japan, Hulk and Souza announce their decision to split. More surprisingly, news of the footballer marrying Camila shook the footballing world. Even though the new couple stated that the ‘marriage’ was for Visa regulations, another post surprised the footballing community.

A picture showing Camila sitting on Hulk’s lap, proudly flaunting a picture of an Ultrasound result confirmed the rumors. Hulk had indeed ‘married’ his niece’s ex-wife. Camila and Hulk are now parents to a young girl named Zaya. Zaya was born in April 2022.
