“I am a big fan of Antonio Conte”- Harry Kane hints he might stay at Tottenham for next season if Conte stays

According to an interview with Standard Sports, Tottenham striker Harry Kane hinted at staying at the club as he has no intention to go anywhere else and also wants Antonio Conte to stay. He stated that Conte is a very good coach and he wants to play under him in the next season as they work very well under his coaching.

The Italian- based Spurs’ coach Conte didn’t provide any update but he consistently aims at leaving the club next summer after the champions league qualification is tentative for the next season. Kane wants Conte to continue but feels it is his decision for sure to talk to the club and decide on his future as he is one of the finest coaches he has ever played with and wants to play in future.

The Englishman has no intention to leave the club amid rumours of his transfer took the limelight but he has no plans of leaving the Spurs any time around. Manchester City had been targeting Kane since last summer but he refused and continued to stay after he is left with very few options, Kane will be seen in Tottenham for a few more years. Tottenham has been improving since Conte’s signing as the Spurs’ coach and they have been doing well.

Kane told Standard Sport, “I have said I am a big fan of his and we get on really well so, of course, it would be great for the club if he stays. But like I have said that is his decision, he’s his own man, and I’m sure he will talk to the club and decide on his future.”

“I think the improvement has definitely been there since the gaffer came into where we are now. It shows it can be done in a short space of time, but obviously, we will see what happens over the summer and look forward to the next season with a great manager. Hopefully, we’ve learnt a lot since he’s been here”, he added.

Tottenham is currently at the fourth spot with 68 points from 37 games with one game in hand while Arsenal is now two points behind them in an equal number of matches.

If Harry Kane’s Tottenham wins their next fixture against Norwich City, they will seal the Champions League spot from the Gunners. Even if Arsenal wins their last match against Everton at home and Tottenham pulls off a draw, Conte’s side will still finish fourth as they are 15 points ahead of Arsenal in the goal differential.
