“I don’t even know him personally,” former Manchester United’s manager Ralf Rangnick reacts to Cristiano Ronaldo’s bitter statements about him
CR7 and Ralf Ragnick during their time together at Manchester United
Former Manchester United manager, Ralf Ragnick has finally broken his silence and has responded to the cold-hearted interview given by Cristiano Ronaldo. The veteran striker took shots at various parties inside the club including Ralf Ragnick, Erik Ten Hag, and the Glazers.
Cristiano Ronaldo told Piers Morgan in an interview; “This guy is not even a coach. A big club like Manchester United bringing in a sport directive surprised not only me but all (the) world.”
The Austrian national team manager responded to these comments very politely in the media before his team’s pre-match conference. He added, “I’m the boss of Austria’s national team, it’s not my job to judge that. (It’s) the job of Manchester United and sports journalists.”
The Austrian midfielder Xaver Schlager defended his boss as he added’ “Everyone knows how much influence (Ragnick) had in Austria, at RB Leipzig, and also in Salzburg. He is a very great professional who has also changed football a bit.” The player had nothing but praise for his coach.
Ronaldo also criticized the Manchester United owners and other former teammates who had been talking trash about him in the media. The striker had a lot to talk about as he addressed various issues that were dismantling the club.

What went wrong between Cristiano Ronaldo and Manchester United?
What was seen as a hero’s return to Old Trafford, Cristiano Ronaldo’s comeback to the Premier League has brought nothing but frustration for the striker. He has often been seen raging out of the stadium because of either lousy defeats, or lesser playing time now.
The Portuguese wasn’t enjoying his time with the Red Devils and had enough of the Glazers and other media pundits criticizing him. Therefore, Ronaldo went to the Piers Morgan show to hand out the British broadcaster a spicy interview.
Cristiano Ronaldo was seen bashing Manchester United’s facilities and administration and compared his initial days at the club with the ones now. He said that there was “zero progress” since Sir Alex Ferguson’s time. What do you think the future holds for one of the best footballers of all time?
