It was a day ago that the Frenchman, Karim Benzema lifted the most prestigious individual trophy in football which is the Ballon d’Or 2022. The player has become the fifth Frenchman after Zinedine Zidane to lift the historic award and the oldest in the last 66 years to do so, defying all the odds.

The Real Madrid President Florentino Perez came forward and on being asked about it, he said, “Everyone knows I went to Benzema’s house to get him to Madrid. I’m so happy to see him win the Ballon d’Or. I’ve been a fan for 13 years.” Indicating his importance in the player’s Madrid career, he has admired him a lot.

Perez being a President of the club has taken every opportunity to praise the Awarded, the Frenchman also came in complete gratitude for the award and the people behind it, although it was a clean sweep for him this year, as no competition whatsoever could bring him down the podium.

Karim Benzema’s triumph in the Ballon d’Or 2022

Karim Benzema is one of the most successful strikers in the history of the Spanish giants Real Madrid and has become the oldest player to win it in the last 66 years, last year’s run for the Frenchman has been phenomenal and there was no doubt whatsoever in the player’s position in the Ballon d’Or rankings.

The player waited for his turn for quite a long and has now achieved his dream of being tagged as The Best of this year. The accolades and personal achievements of the Frenchman involved the La Liga, Champions League, and UEFA Nations League with France, and totaled 44 goals for his club.

The Frenchman left no stone unturned while his triumph for the award, and has gained the unannounced title of being the most deserved Ballon d’Or awardee in the last decade or so. The player has a clean sweep for the award and has no competition whatsoever that stands even close to him once into consideration.
