” I’m completely bullet-proof and iron-clad”- Cristiano Ronaldo responds to critics slamming him for his controversial interview

Cristiano Ronaldo

During a surprise media appearance in Qatar this morning, Cristiano Ronaldo said that he was “bulletproof and iron-clad” and emphasized that he had no remorse over his incendiary interview about Manchester United. Ronaldo pleaded with reporters to stop comparing him to other Portugal players, saying that he was “not perfect but felt fantastic” and had fully recovered from a recent injury.

Cristiano Ronaldo said “You can help by not talking about me. I’m completely bullet-proof and iron-clad. If you ask other players about Cristiano Ronaldo I would be upset. If you want to ask him about the World Cup and the team, I would like you to do that.”

In his interview with Piers Morgan last week, Ronaldo delivered a bombshell on Old Trafford by alleging that Manchester United management had “betrayed” him and criticizing the team harshly.

Cristiano Ronaldo, a renowned striker for Portugal, shared an advance peek at his new wax statue for the Madame Tussauds museum in New York on Saturday, the eve of the FIFA World Cup. During the competition in Qatar, Ronaldo, who will be participating in his sixth World Cup, will once again serve as Portugal’s captain.

When Ronaldo’s image appeared on every billboard in Times Square, a large crowd of supporters had gathered there. Ronaldo posted a video of the unveiling of his wax statue on social media.

Notably, Ronaldo’s contentious conversation with British journalist Piers Morgan made headlines. In the interview, which was split into two sections and made public earlier this week, Ronaldo claimed that he felt “betrayed” by Manchester United, his current club, and that manager Erik ten Hag and other top club officials are attempting to get rid of him.

Ronaldo scored 24 goals in all competitions for United last season after returning from Juventus. United had a bad season, though as they were unable to make the Champions League.
