Manchester United’s star forward Cristiano Ronaldo is seen enjoying his weekend in Lisbon, Portugal with his partner Georgina Rodriguez.
Thursday’s 2-0 victory over Sheriff Tiraspol helped Manchester United restart their Europa League campaign. It was Cristiano Ronaldo’s first goal of the year. Prior to scoring against the Moldovan champions in the first half, Ronaldo had gone seven games without a goal this season. Although it was Ronaldo’s 699th club goal, the 37-year-understated old’s celebration fit the style of United’s third straight road win.
In a recent selfie near the pool, the couple is seen enjoying their stay at Lisbon and Ronaldo is having a great time at his hometown.

Cristiano Ronaldo giving hope to the fans
Cristiano Ronaldo’s most recent Instagram post has given fans hope that he is finally adjusting to the new way of life at Manchester United under Erik ten Hag. The 37-year-old forward was open about wanting to leave Old Trafford over the summer, but few Champions League teams showed any interest in luring him away from Manchester. Ronaldo was consequently made to fall on his sword and remain in place for the time being.
Although Ronaldo has appeared in all six of United’s Premier League games so far this season, things haven’t gone well. Only once has he played the entire 90 minutes. The devastating 4-0 loss away at Brentford, one of the worst performances in Red Devils history, only served to make the situation worse.
Since then, during the course of the four league games that have taken place, the former Real Madrid player has logged a total of 80 minutes of playing time. Although it was in a defeat, this time at the hands of Spanish team Real Sociedad on matchday one of the Europa League group stage, he did get another 90 minutes in last week.
