Inter Milan seals loan deal for Lukaku for €8M + addons
Romelu Lukaku was desperate to return back to Inter Milan after a horrendous season at Stamford Bridge. The Belgian has a strained relationship with Thomas Tuchel and barely played towards the tail end of the season.
The two clubs agreed on a loan fee of €8 million for the player plus addons and Belgium will be in Milan next week to complete his medicals. Andre Onana will also sign his contract soon and be unveiled as Inter Milan’s latest signing after agreeing on a pre-contract last season.
Inter are also working on extending the contract of manager, Simone Inzaghi after the Italian just missed getting Inter the Scudetto, losing to neighbours AC Milan. Milan is prepared to offer Inzaghi a new deal until June 2024.
Inter Milan’s next set of transfer business would include selling some important players to raise funds. The main names on the list include Denzel Dumfries, Milan Skriniar and Alexis Sanchez. The 3 could help bring in almost €100 million to the club.
