Tottenham star Son
Tottenham star Son Heung-Min is considered the most underrated player to play in the Premier League by many football pundits as he tries to snatch wins Tottenham from every match to finish in the top four places.
He is one of the prolific goalscorers for the Spurs this season with a total of 19 goals and seven assists in the league. He is three goals behind the Egyptian star Mohammed Salah this season which proves his capacity. Son never won a major trophy with Spurs since his arrival but undoubtedly he’s one of the best strikers Tottenham ever signed.
The 29-year-old South Korean striker is in the race for the golden boot and keeps Tottenham’s hopes alive for qualifying for the Champions League next season.
Son scored a brace against Leicester City to keep them in the race for the top four places. Despite his goal-scoring nature in the league for the Spurs, he is not given that value and has always been one of the most underrated players for the North London team. The South Korean international is just like Eden Hazard of Chelsea who’s been one of the most ignored players and stayed on the underrated player’s list even though he has now been a two-time Premier League winner and currently plays for Madrid.
Son Heung Min joined Tottenham from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015 and since his arrival at the English club. He’s been one of the best players from Asia to play at this level and dominate other players in terms of performance. He has a real threat to many defenders of his dribbling skills and his foot movement which helps him to pressurize from different angles. He is the first Asian footballer to get a whopping amount of £22million when he was picked up by Tottenham in 2015.
Son is the highest goal-scorer in the Premier League from an Asian country and interestingly, if the total penalty goals are excluded, he becomes the top scorer over the past two seasons in the Premier League. Son Heung-Min and Kane have been one of the best-attacking duos in the Premier League, but their lethal duo isn’t recognized to be one of the best.
