“Isn’t Ronaldo doing exactly the same what he despises Rooney and Neville for” – Fans call out Cristiano Ronaldo for his criticism of former teammate and pundit Gary Neville
Cristiano Ronaldo takes a dig at Gary Neville
Cristiano Ronaldo has attacked Gary Neville for exploiting him to raise his own identity. The allegations stem from the Portuguese’s explosive interview with Piers Morgan, wherein he targeted Manchester United, Erik ten Hag, Ralf Rangnick, and now Neville, among others.
Ronaldo has now evened his erstwhile teammate at Old Trafford in response to the Sky pundit’s alleged dissent of him. ‘I think they take advantage of that because they are not stupid,’ Ronaldo said in the interview with Piers Morgan. ‘I’m the No 1 followed guy in the world. It’s not by coincidence.’
Both Neville and Rooney have recently accused the Portuguese of his apparently angry and progressively whiny personality. Perhaps best exemplified by his denial to play against Tottenham last month.

Gary Neville and Cristiano Ronaldo situation
The Sky Sports pundit was one of those who defended the forward after he came back to Old Trafford last season. Nevertheless, because of this season’s incidents, he has reversed his position and stated that Ronaldo must depart the club if he cannot embrace his new position.
Several of Ronaldo’s old teammates persist to support him. Many have called for his dismissal while also criticizing his behavior on the field and the substitutes’ bench.
Ronaldo believes Neville chooses to criticize him because of the spotlight it will generate now that their friendship is over. Ronaldo previously ran onto the Old Trafford pitch to warm up and purposefully opted not to shake Neville’s hand.
