Angel di Maria‘s wife Jorgelina Cardoso opened up about the transfer that became a nightmare for the couple, di Maria’s transfer from Real Madrid to Manchester United was really unlikely to happen, especially after an amazing Champions League win for the team, but the money offered by the English giants was an offer one can’t refuse.

“Angel came to me one day and said: ‘Look at this proposal from Manchester United. I didn’t want to go, I told him to go alone,” said Cardoso on an Argentine TV show, which clearly shows the disagreement the couple had over their fantastic stay in Madrid to be broken by a better money offering from Manchester.

Money can cure many things but can’t bring happiness that’s for sure about this whole episode. “I didn’t like it at all… I can tell you. People are all weird. You walk around and you don’t know if they’re going to kill you. The food is disgusting. The women look like porcelain,” she further added, which was effectively showing the discomfort that the South American couple was facing.

“It was horrible, so horrible. I just told him, ‘Darling, I want to kill myself, it’s nighttime at two o’clock,” said Cardoso to Angel di Maria’s worst ever transfer, which really is never going to be repeated after this.
