The FIGC i.e. the Italian Football Federation have decided their position regarding the European Super League. They have taken a firm stance against the new competition and in response to the judgment ruling from the European Court of Justice, FIGC has announced an anti-Super League clause.

This decision will mandate that all Serie A clubs sign a written commitment in which they will vow not to take part in the competitions organized by private associations that FIFA, UEFA, or the FIGC doesn’t recognize.

The deadline has been set for the 4th of June 2024 and if the clubs fail to comply with these rules, they will be denied admission to the Serie A. This move reflects the FIGC’s determination to prevent the resurgence of any outside league and the Super League and will affect the clubs pleading their allegiance to it legally.

This stringent approach is a part of the efforts to protect the Italian clubs from the Super League’s influence. The conditions set up by the league rules will make it compulsory for the clubs to sign the documents if they want successful registrations in the 2024/25 season.
