“It’s a shame”- Barcelona boss wants the team to focus on El Clasico after gloomy future in Champions League

After the game between Barcelona and Inter Milan in the Champions League, the game ended with a score of 3-3, with the Blaugranas yet again failing to defeat their opponents which is going to cause them huge trouble. If Inter does not drop points in their next fixture, then it is very likely for the Catalan club to be seen in the Europa League.

The news is as disheartening as it gets, the coach Xavi Hernandez was angry and disappointed in the team and spat strong words for the team saying, “We have to think about El Clasico because the UCL is already very complicated. It’s a shame.” Indicating the important fixture with rivals Real Madrid for deciding the table toppers.

The manager further went on for his team’s poor performance and the fact that they couldn’t beat Inter and said, “If you don’t beat Inter at home, you don’t deserve to stay in this competition.” Acknowledging the advantage of playing in Camp Nou that still couldn’t convert into a win for the Blaugranas.
