Manchester United player Jadon Sancho has been the center of attention following his statement on social media that went viral. Sancho was left out of the matchday squad against Arsenal earlier this month. Later, Erik Ten Hag, came out addressing the decision after the loss and told the Press that the player was left because of his performances in training. He said that United players are required to reach a certain level of training every day in order to be selected.
Following these comments, Sancho took to social media claiming that he was not left out due to his poor performances in training and he is just being made a “Scapegoat”. However, this has turned out worse for the English player. Recently, Manchester United released an official statement saying that Jadon Sancho will remain on a ‘personal training programme’. He will be training at the Manchester United Academy.
As per reports, his removal from the main squad comes following his refusal to apologize to the manager for his actions. Although the player has deleted the post that led to the controversy, Erik Ten Hag wants an apology before Sancho is allowed to return. This is just to reaffirm his position as the manager because the Dutch gaffa does not want his authority to be challenged by his players.

Jando Sancho arrived at Old Trafford in 2021 for £73 million. The English winger, however, has not been able to replicate his Borussia Dortmund success with the Red Devils. Earlier, it was the injuries, and now the ‘clash’ with the manager. Hopefully, there is a light at the end of the tunnel for the youngster from here on.

How can Erik Ten Hag line up the playing XI against Brighton?
Erik Ten Hag has a mountain to climb in terms of squad selection as the players will be knackered after the International Break. While also missing some of the big names for the clash. The delicate situation of Antony, and Sancho’s exclusion from the squad, leaves a huge gap on the right wing. Their upcoming game against Brighton comes on the back of a 3-1 defeat to Arsenal earlier this month.
Meanwhile, the new signing, Sofyan Amrabat has also picked up an injury with Morocco. He will be a major miss if he is unavailable against Brighton. Luke Shaw and Raphael Varane are also out.

The starting XI can look somewhat like this. Ten Hag is sticking with Onana in goal. Lindelof and Martinez as the Centre-back duo with Aaron Wan-Bissaka on the right and Diogo Dalot on the left- the back 4. Eriksen and Casemiro are likely to start in midfield pivot. While Garnacho, Fernandes, and Rashford start behind their new £64 million man Rasmus Højlund.
United will be hoping to right their wrongs and move up the ladder. They are currently in 11th in the Premier League table. On the other hand, Brighton is on the back of a 3-1 win against Newcastle. They are in 6th position in the table. But, all eyes will be on Barcelona loanee, Ansu Fati, as he looks to make his debut.
