Real Madrid has been at loggerheads with La Liga President Javier Tebas for quite a long time now. The thoughts of Los Blancos President Florentino Perez and Javier Tebas don’t match at all. And this time, the President of La Liga poked the whites in an interview conducted on Thursday.

The dispute between Florentino Perez and Javier Tebas started after Madrid came up with the idea of a European Super League (ESL) project. But not only Tebas but the majority of the football fans in Europe didn’t like the idea of the European Super League.

But despite the opposition from fans and Javier Tebas Real Madrid with its everlasting rival and the Serie A giants Juventus continued to propagate the idea of ESL. And this continued propagation of the European Super League has led to a heated relationship between the whites and Tebas.

Javier Tebas has always backfired on Real Madrid and especially on Florentino Perez. And in a recent interview conducted, he did the same thing, “I know Florentino well. He thinks that in Spain there are places where Real Madrid shouldn’t play. He thinks this league is weak & generates nothing,” he quoted.

Further, the President of La Liga told that Real Madrid ‘cry a lot’ despite the truth that big La Liga clubs earn the same amount as Premier League clubs. He quoted “Big clubs in Spain earn as much as the ones in Premier League. Real Madrid just cries a lot about it.”

But now things are going little in the hands of Javier Tebas because there has been a small dispute between Barcelona and Real Madrid and on the other side Juventus are also fighting in the Italian Courts due to recent allegations imposed on them.

The idea of the European Super League was announced in April 2021 but was soon rejected by many Premier League clubs due to many protests. But as per Bernd Reichant the CEO of A22 Sports Management, the league could start from 2024/25.

The format of ESL is a little different from other leagues. As per reports, European Super League will have 60-80 teams in a multi-divisional format. The introduction of ESL is to end the dominance of  UEFA as per reports. As many fans are still opposing this concept and the ESL league. Javier Tebas has not spoken openly about this new league.

Tebas quoted  “The Super League is the wolf, who today disguises himself as a granny to try to fool European football, but HIS nose and HIS teeth are very big, four divisions in Europe? Of course the first for them, as in the 2019 reform. Government of the clubs? Of course only the big ones.”

Tebas gave this statement after a post on Twitter went viral where Super League was shown as a wolf. And European football was shown as a granny who gave food to that wolf.
