In an exclusive report, Joao Felix, the Portuguese sensation and starting baller from Atletico Madrid, has expressed his sheer interest in joining the Los Galacticos. The winger considers the transfer move a fulfillment of his “Impossible dream” to play for La Liga giants Barcelona.
The 23-year-old forward revealed his desire to move to Barcelona, as he has wanted it to happen since childhood. Felix’s desire to join Barcelona comes amid much summer transfer speculation. It would be challenging for both Barcelona and Atletico Madrid to find common ground.
Since his record-breaking deal to join Atletico Madrid in 2019, Felix’s journey has not been so smooth. He was loaned out to Chelsea last season, where his run was very underwhelming. However, the talented Portuguese forward remains highly valued and has attracted interest from top clubs across Europe, including clubs like PSG.
The young Portuguese stated when asked about his future. He said,“Barcelona has always been my first choice and I’d love to join Barça. It was always my dream since I was a kid. If it happens, it will be a dream come true for me.”
Joao Felix’s rift between two La Liga contenders

Barcelona’s president, Joan Laporta, is often called an admirer of Felix’s gameplay and techniques. He has expressed his keen interest in signing him many times. Previously, the signing of Felix was very close between Atletico Madrid and Barcelona, but financial constraints broke the deal.
With Atletico Madrid’s reluctance to sell off their brightest youngster, Barcelona will be ready to overcome the challenges of securing Felix’s contract. Until the Catalans find a way out to resolve their ongoing financial issues and find a feasible way to secure Felix Transfer, the youngster’s “Impossible dream” will remain unfulfilled.
As the summer transfer window unfolds and the new season is closing in, all the football fanatics’ eyes are on Barcelona’s new signings and squad amendments.
