Arsenal midfielder Jorginho has caused a stir among Arsenal and Chelsea supporters by sharing a photo of himself with Kai Havertz. Arsenal is making a strong effort to acquire the German player from their London rivals. Recent reports suggest that Havertz could become an Arsenal player in the coming week following a second bid.

It is believed that Havertz has approved the move to Arsenal, and an official announcement seems likely. Jorginho, who recently joined Arsenal from Chelsea in January, is teasing fans with his actions. He and Kai Havertz were both present at Kepa Arrizabalaga‘s wedding, and Jorginho posted a selfie of the two of them dressed in suits.

The former Napoli midfielder tagged his previous teammate, with a series of eye emojis and a laughing emoji along with the post. While this post got the Arsenal fans excited, it angered many Chelsea fans.

One Arsenal fan wrote, “I love this game.” Another fan wrote: “Imagine back in December we’d have Jorginho teasing transfers to Arsenal fans and that transfer was Kai Havertz.” Many claimed that Jorginho has announced Kai Havertz before Arsenal. Chelsea fans were not happy. One fan angrily said, “The hate I feel towards him increases as the day goes by.” Many claim that he shows a lack of respect for his former club.

Does Saudi PIF have a stake in Chelsea?

The Saudi PIF took over Newcastle United in 2021. However, that might not be the only club they have a stake in. The consortium apparently has stakes in Chelsea Fc too. This would explain the numerous departures from their club to Saudi Pro League as the PIF owns huge stakes in those clubs too.

Todd Boehly, a 49-year-old American businessman, is known as the leading figure of the Chelsea ownership consortium. Alongside his ownership stake in the Major League Baseball (MLB) team, the LA Dodgers, Boehly serves as the public representative of a group supported by investment firm Clearlake Capital, alongside other affluent partners.

According to reports, it has been stated that the Public Investment Fund (PIF) has “billions of pounds of assets managed by Clearlake.” However, sources from Chelsea have denied any Saudi involvement when Clearlake acquired the club in 2022.
