Jose Mourinho will join Paris Saint-Germain after tonight’s Europa League final, according to reports. The Portuguese will lead AS Roma in their quest for European glory against record-winners Sevilla.
During the pre-match press conference, Jose Mourinho swore that he had not met with any club officials to discuss his future. ‘The Special One’ and his team are preparing for the Europa League final against Sevilla, and he has no desire to upset his players with his desire to move elsewhere. However, he has made no secret of his frustration at the lack of resources at the club.
Roma have failed to qualify for the UEFA Champions League via Serie A and is hoping to secure its ticket to the competition by winning the UEFA Europa League final. Regardless of the result though, Mourinho is reportedly set to sign for PSG. According to sources, the deal is “110%” done if he beats Sevilla this evening, and “80%” if he loses.
Either way, he has a very good chance of joining Paris. Mourinho’s arrival has been much anticipated in France, with his name circulating in the aisles of the Parc des Princes since the Qataris arrived twelve years ago.

Real Madrid may have played a role in Jose Mourinho choosing PSG
José Mourinho has also been linked with a move to Real Madrid to take over from Carlo Ancelotti. The Italian coach is under contract until June 2024. The Portuguese coach recently spoke about a possible return to the Spanish capital.
“I love Madrid, it was a very nice experience. I also love the media there,” he said. However, according to sources close to Real Madrid, the dressing room is unhappy at reports of links between the Merengue club and Jose Mourinho. The Los Blancos squad has reportedly closed the door on the Portuguese. As a result, dreams of a happy union with PSG may soon be a reality.
Regardless of his future, the Portuguese is currently focused on the final. He is aiming to win his sixth European title, and will undoubtedly continue to make history wherever he goes.
