AS Roma boss Jose Mourinho has been linked with French Champions Paris Saint-Germain.  The club might seize the manager after his contract with the Italians ends this summer. According to various sources in Paris, PSG boss Christopher Galtier’s job with the French giants is in trouble after PSG’s recent blunders. The French giants have appeared shaky in recent fixtures, and are considering a change in the managerial role. 

According to reports from Footmercato, PSG president Luis Campos reached out to ‘the special one’ following PSG’s disastrous European form. It will be an interesting tie-up, as the fans would have an opportunity of seeing Jose Mourinho in the Champions League once again. Things might get awkward for PSG star Lionel Messi after leaving a trail of bitter emotions for the manager during his Barca days.

PSG sent numerous offers to French legend Zinedine Zidane while hunting for their new boss. Despite multiple proposals, he has constantly rejected the club’s offers. PSG sees Mourinho as their second-top-priority choice. It is believed that the club would do everything in their power to land the Portuguese coach.

The French Champions were building up a super-team recently after signing players like Lionel Messi, Sergio Ramos, Gianluigi Donnarumma, and more in a single transfer window. Although, these signings haven’t really worked out for the Parisians on the European stage. 

PSG had players like Lionel Messi, Neymar Jr., and Kylian Mbappe playing against the Bavarians this week. Although they had a star-struck lineup, the French champions still managed to lose 1-0 to the Germans at Parc des Princes. The UEFA Champions League tie was expected to be an enthralling clash between the two teams. Though, it turned out to be a disappointment for all Paris fans.
