Jose Mourinho stated on Thursday that he does not have a close bond with his former Premier League club, which is Tottenham. The Portuguese was appointed as a manager in November 2019 as a replacement for Mauricio Pochettino. Pochettino was sacked in the middle of the season and Jose Mourinho was appointed to uplift the club.
In the season of 2019/20, Mourinho helped Tottenham to finish sixth on the table. And in the next season, the Portuguese manager finished seventh on the league table. Under the guidance of Jose Mourinho also the club didn’t play that well. But Mourinho helped Spurs to get into the finals of the Carabao Cup against Man City in 2020/21.
But just a few days before the finals, the higher authorities sacked the Portuguese manager and Ryan Mason was appointed as the new manager. However, Spurs lost the finals against Man City by 1-0. Mourinho played 58 EPL games and out of that he won 27 games and lost 17 matches.
After his shocking departure, Mourinho joined AS Roma and in the first season only he managed to win a UEFA Europa Conference League with the club. And are in the finals of the UEFA Europa League. Jose Mourinho is still fighting to book a place in the top four positions to make a return to the Champions League.
The Portuguese manager in a recent interview stated that, “Tottenham is the only club with which I do not have a close bond. Probably because the stadium was empty at the time of COVID and because President Levy didn’t let me play in the final and win the trophy. But it’s the only club in my life.”
Tottenham was the only club in which Jose Mourinho was not able to win a single trophy. This had happened with the Portuguese manager for the first time in his professional career.

Many reports have claimed that Harry Kane has finally decided to leave Tottenham. And he wants to play in the Premier League only. As per a few reports as of now, two clubs are interested to sign the English player.
The French giants Paris-Saint-German and the 13 times Premier League winners Manchester United both the clubs are ready to sign the player. With Messi leaving PSG and the same rumors coming for Neymar Jr. the club is looking for a striker and thinks Kane can fit well into the system.
Manchester United also wants to sign a striker as Weghorst has had not a very good season with the Reds. And the club is looking for his replacement and is speculating to crack the deal of Harry Kane.
