Former Premier League manager Jose Mourinho dropped his opinion on the tournament’s potential results at the end of the season. In a surprising revelation, he edged the verdict towards Manchester City with a closely followed Liverpool. When asked about Arsenal, he gave a short but hilarious, ‘nah’.
As a former London manager, Mourinho’s loyalties naturally align against Arsenal. This also runs back to when Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho lit up the fixtures.
On the Obi One Podcast, he said that Man City have a 51%, while Liverpool are just behind with 49%. This also means the 23-24 season could have another closely-knit title race according to Jose Mourinho.
Manchester City could create history by becoming the first team to win four league titles. Hence, to cut out the dominance, Arsenal has been Pep Guardiola’s most challenging team to face. Even though Guardiola has only lost 3 of the eleven times he has faced Arteta’s team, the losses helped the Gunners win trophies.
However, Mourinho underlined the unpredictability of the Premier League. He also addressed how Manchester City’s squad depth serves as a strength to their title defense. The Roma manager also said that he would not care much if Arsenal eventually won the title either.
Jose Mourinho subs out Renato Sanchez after just eighteen minutes
Roma manager Jose Mourinho publicly apologized to midfielder Renato Sanches after a controversial substitution during their 2-0 defeat to Bologna. Sanches, on loan from PSG, was brought on at half-time but surprisingly subbed off just 18 minutes later by Mourinho.

Mourinho, acknowledging the difficulty of such decisions, addressed the substitution of Sanches.
I want to publicly apologize to Renato Sanches; it's very hard for a footballer, but it's also hard for a coach.Jose Mourinho said to DAZN
This incident marks Mourinho’s third or fourth such decision in his career, where he has been at a crossroads with his player.
Renato Sanches, who has seen limited playing time under Mourinho this season, has faced criticism from the manager in the past. The public apology suggests Mourinho’s acknowledgment of the impact such decisions can have on a player and reflects the complexities of managing a football squad.
