Jose Mourinho v Thomas Tuchel: Who has a better record with Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge?

Jose Mourinho and Thomas Tuchel are the two coaches of Chelsea who have been far apart from the other managers of the Blues. However, there are comparisons that are raised by the fans of the West London club. Some might say Mourinho is the best coach Chelsea ever had while others might consider Thomas Tuchel to be the best.
However, according to statistics, it seems clear that at the Stamford Bridge, i.e. at Chelsea’s home ground, Mourinho has been more consistent than Tuchel in the Premier League. Out of 106 matches played at Stamford Bridge during Mourinho’s tenure, the Blues just lost five times. On the other hand, in 25 matches played at the Stamford Bridge under Tuchel’s reign, Chelsea has already been defeated five times.
Thomas Tuchel is on the verge of equalizing the points tally that was achieved by Chelsea in the 2016-17 season as they got their hands on the trophy. With eight games in hand in the Premier League, they could reach the points that made them Champions in the 2016-17 season.
Chelsea had a long season this year with a higher number of competitions that they have played making it stagnant. But with FA Cup in hand to play for, they could finish the season with one trophy in the cabinet. The Blues recently lost 4-2 to arch-rivals Arsenal in the Premier League 2021-22 on Wednesday.
Chelsea’s Champions League victory with Thomas Tuchel overshadows Jose Mourinho’s reign

Jose Mourinho has coached Chelsea over two terms, the first one starting in 2004 and ending in 2008, and the second term beginning in 2013 and concluding in 2016. While his first reign was brilliant with the Blues winning two Premier Leagues, the second term was short but Chelsea still managed to win one more Premier League title under him.
However, during these two tenures, Mourinho’s Chelsea failed to get their hands on the Champions League, losing to Manchester United in the Champions League final in 2008. They accomplished the feat in 2012 for the first time under Roberto Di Matteo.
On the other hand, Thomas Tuchel gave the Blues the Champions League trophy in his first season as manager. Chelsea defeated their arch-rival from Premier League, Manchester City, with Kai Havertz scoring the only goal in the match.
Even though Chelsea is very far from winning the Premier League this season and is already out of the Champions League, they could still eye a trophy as they play Liverpool in the FA Cup finals at the Wembley.
