Jude Bellingham truly cannot stop winning. The Real Madrid superstar made headlines against Arandina despite his involvement being limited to the bench. The Los Blancos took on fourth-tier side Arandina CF in the Copa del Rey on Sunday. Carlo Ancelotti and co. cruised to a 3-1 win on the night as Jude Bellingham’s kid gesture left fans smiling.
Real Madrid ensured progression in the Copa del Rey as goals from Joselu, Brahim Diaz and Rodrygo Goes helped them see off Arandina. Bellingham was included on the bench by Ancelotti but remained an unused substitute. A clip focusing on the touchline captured a heartwarming gesture by Real Madrid’s #5.

Bellingham was seated on the bench, covered in a Real Madrid ‘blanket’, when he took notice of a ball boy standing in the cold. He initially gestured for the child to come closer to give him the blanket.
However, when he showed reluctance, Bellingham himself went up to the child and covered him with the cloth. Following the game, the little child was interviewed by a reporter. He happily said that it was the ‘happiest day in his life’.
Carlo Ancelotti labels Jude Bellingham ‘the best’ player
Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti knows more than anyone else just how good Jude Bellingham is. The Italian made a bold claim before the team’s Copa del Rey clash against Arandina CF, and it is difficult to disagree. The Real Madrid boss gave an analysis of Bellingham’s season so far. He pointed out how he managed to adapt well, to the playing style, the culture, and the league.

Bellingham? He is doing very well. In this first part of the season, taking into account his adaptation to our club, to a new culture and language, he has done very well. For us, obviously, he is the best.
He was right to say so, as the CIES Football Observatory values Bellingham as the most valuable player in the world at the moment. Had he been available for transfer, a club would have had to pay €267.5 million to acquire his services. Despite his comments, Ancelotti left Bellingham on the bench as Real won 3-1 against Arandina.
Currently, Jude Bellingham has scored 13 goals and 2 assists for the club in 17 games in La Liga. His record in the Champions League is equally impressive, netting 4 times and setting up another three in 5 group-stage games. The club is now up against rivals Atletico Madrid in the semi-final of the Supercopa de España. Real Madrid are top of La Liga, closely tailed by Girona who are 2nd only due to goal difference.
